what is a knocklink and what does it do .....

 

It's a small microphone type device which compares the "sound" of your engine to the expected timing and tells you if it's detting or knocking by illuminating a series of LEDs according to severity. A must on Jap imports not designed to run on our fuel or cars running very serious power modifications. I think

 

im after a knock link too, suppose you couldnt tell me where i can purchase one and how much are they going for.

Fitting. are they easy to fit or would i need a pro to do this?
