Interested in the answer myself here, as I re-used the re-circ DV on my 98 (when I fitted the fmic) - though maybe not good enough (its the plastic unit), given my current boost issue (though no evidence its the DV yet)...

I'd like to stay re-circ though, as its

a) better
b) not noisy

... Over to someone with an answer.... (GM - Where are you )

Forge recirculate should be fine, I run one with my fmic.

I think the standard unit may be okay but I had to modify the spring rates in the forge so you might have problems with the standard unit but no idea until you try..

there is also a Forge recirculate for MY98 for sale here if you wanted to ditch the standard one.

how do you fit the forge to the fmic though? is it a case of a backplate with metal pipe welded to it and into pipework of fmic? do you have any pics of such a set-up? thanks
