Default pulsing boost

I was on the motorway yesterday in my my99. I was cruising at about 80 mph in 5th, when in plant my foot down the boost pulsates, the boost gauge goes over 15 psi backs of then goes again and so on. but when I slowly put my foot down the problem is not there. so when I was coming home and my car had time to cool down I tried it again, but it was not there. as I got almost home it came back, so I think it comes on when it get to a certain temperature. people have suggested it could be a leak on the intercooler piping or the boost actuator. could this be true?

cheers Jason

Sounds like it could be overboosting with the full decat then
You need to restrict your boost from going too high, something like a dawes device or a different restrictor plug (little brass thing off the solenoid).
Speak to the likes of John Banks, he can probably tell you how to cure it with the boost controller.
