Default uprated fuel pump on STI my03

Hi,

Sometime in the future i will remap my STI 03 with a Tek-map and exhaust. I understand that the fuelling needs to be taken care of (Walbro), but i was planning to do the fuel pump first so my question is this: Can the original ECU adapt to a higher spec. Walbro pump without a remap immediately? Will it run to rich?

Regards

Daniel

No problems, you can go for the uprated fuel pump without any trouble.

do you need to add / change a regulator when changing the fuel pump, if no why would you use a reg as well ?

Cheers,

Feel a little calmer now. I've heard too many stories about the STI running lean to risc it.

regards
