Standard fuel pressure regulator adjustable?

As above? Does anybody know if it can be tweaked to give an extra half a bar of pressure or so? Havent bothered to look yet but wondered if it had the familiar old allen key adjustment?

The standard FPR cannot be adjusted as there is no 'allen key adjustment'

You can squash the can, but it is hit and miss.

I have read somewhere (prolly NASIOC) there is a way of butchering the OEM FPR to make it adjustable.
