MY95 WRX (AUTO)
driving home to lunch - steering becomes rock hard - handbrake and battery light appear - what's gone wrong? parked it up... drove honda back to work!

broken power steering belt / fan belt i would say. Battery light appears as the fan belt is no longer connected to the alternator and hence battery is not charging.
