Question Clutch replacement

I need a new clutch for my 98 MY Turbo - The old one has been in for 80000 miles, so I reckon its done OK...

The cars running around 280 bhp and I'm hoping to increase that over the next year or so by swapping to larger turbo, injectors etc...

Anyhow, what clutch plate is the one to go for and where from

I've seen the AP uprated ones, which seem to be around the 350-400 mark, but I've been told that the B+B plates can be had for about 125.. (BIG difference in price here!)

What's the 'scooby-view' ?

Ta,

Mark

PS _ Skoosh - if you read this mate, I didn't get time to phone autoparts, but I did go to the web site - it redirects to expressautoparts, which is stateside (!?)

B&B is okay for std or midly modded cars.

As your going for bigger turbo etc best go for an uprated one. AP organic is around £395 + release bearing £75.

Also your flywheel may need skimming or replacing which is much easier to do at the same time as clutch (as I found out the hard-way )
