Operation 'exhaust wrap'
Hi all
Carrying out the above mission on my magnex twin dump down pipe and have 30m of the weaved wrap stuff with some metal ties.
1. How much of this should i put on the pipe? All 30m?
2. Does it matter how thick the wrap is around the pipe?
3. Should i just layer it on the down pipe till all 30m of wrap is used?
4. As mine is a twin dump, do i need to also wrap the waste gate pipe?
5. And finally, what are the benefits of the wrap? Will it get rid of that annoying tinny/rattly sound that i have 'aquired' since fitting the dp. Is it one step closer to achieving my goal of little popping flames out of the pipe?!?!?
Thanks everyone
off to wd40 those bloody bolts!!

Probably want to use as much as you have got, you will find it won't go far.
I bought a DP ready wrapped (2 layers) and have not noticed any sounds other than a slight deepening of the exhaust note.
