porting and polishing a turbo?

Thumbs up porting and polishing a turbo?

has anybody ever done this?
ive read a bit on the net about it, which parts do you port?
the up pipe join?
any advice?

The main reason to port the turbo is to allow more flow through the waste gate, soon as you make big torque you run out of flow in the WG, the US guys get this with just an exhaust system. What they do is open the WG hole up in the exhaust shell, bend the air to the port hole, now it is all squre corners.

the valve only needs 1.5mm seat, allow for the seat to more around too, so the hole size is about 4mm smaller than the valve.
