Default Pipe blown off!

Hi all,
Just been to check the engine oil and noticed a pipe blown off. I will try to describe where it is but I am not very technical. on the front of the turbo there is a plastic pipe which turns left and runs in the same direction as the inlet manifold where it turns there is a pipe sticking up vertically which has a X on the top of it. The pipe that has blown off is about the size of a finger about half inch or so off attaches to this X (so X marks the spot so to speak) there is no jubilee clip holding this pipe just a push fit at the minute I assume this is for good reason.

Why might this pipe blow off
Can i do anything to stop it or should it stay as is

Sorry about punctuation but spilt wine on the keyboard no no right shift key, question mark etc. (Pissed again)

Can you take a piccy of it as it would probably help with regards to diagnosis?

Cheers
