Just out of curiousity, what is considered the life expectency (mileage) on a Scooby engine??

 

Normal roadcar , normal scheduled services > 200.000 MILES to start with ! Due to its boxer design , wear and tear on bearings and engineblock is much less compared to in-lines...explaining the high value of used Scoobies

 

How long is a piece of string??

 

twice the distance from centre to either end

Anyhow - I'm on 105000 now, with a UK car - currently 280bhp, several others on here between 100-180 thousand covered,

others with 'blowups' at <50K,
