Default Would anyone happen to have compressor maps for vf35 and/or vf24/28/29

Looking to upgrade my TD04, but still need quick spool as I autox and rallyx and have considered the 35 or 24/28/29 family.

These maps appear to be well kept secrets, my searching has been in vane thus far.

Thanks in advance.

I would choose the VF35 if you want a small turbo, TD05 if you want medium, TD05/06-20G if you want large. (310-340 BHP VF35, 330-370 BHP TD05, 20G, 400-440 BHP)

John,

I show the 23 w/ a 46.7 compressor (P20 exhasut), the 35 w/ 47.9 (P15 exhaust)-same compressor as the 30/34- is this correct?

Everything I've heard has been very positive on the 35 (for my needs anyways). Wonderful spool and great looking low/mid range torque.

Thanks

Mike

Sorry meant to say VF24/28/29 compressor is nearly if not identical to the VF23. VF3x maps are not public domain.

John- OK that makes sense. Too bad they're so secretive about their maps.

MJU1983- picky in what way? I've only heard good (except that boost creep needs to be taken care via a porting of the wstegate).

The last MY99 I did with the VF35, had 1 bar @ 2900 in 4th gear. Very responsive and it produced about 315 HP and 300 Lb/Ft. All this at moderate boost and with conservative mapping. The car only had free flow 2.5" exhaust, colder spark plugs and a Walbro fuel pump. I like this turbo more and more..... (the bad thing is that porting of the wastegate is needed)

Great #'s! I know some have run it w/ pretty good luck on oem injectors/pump, but when the boost is bumped a little bit injector duty cycles are near maxxed. I would at the same time swap in 565 inj and a uprated pump. I'd also have to have my Ecutek map updated as well.

This turbo is almost non existant stateside (we've recently been flooded w/ 34's and 22's at very good prices, but for some reason the 35 doesn't seem to make it over.

best autox and rallyx turbo is definetly VF35, think xxtuning.com had a couple of this turbos .....

Mark, no need to port these babies when using a restrictor .....

In a new age WRX you will need bigger injectors to take full advantage of the VF35! The fuel pump I recommend in all aplications above about 280 HP. I've seen massive fuel pressure drop @ around 300 HP in a almost new car with the standard pump.........

P.S. I have a few VF35 on order from Z1-performance in the U.S.

@ Carlos: I don't think you will experience boost creep after 6000 RPM with restrictor, however you would like to have it I suppose.........

...I bought my VF35 from XX Tuning. Considerably cheaper than a UK supplier would have been (if they had stock). Produced 345bhp & 314 lb/ft @PE (UK MY00 with other mods, of course).

More good #'s! For some reason I thought these were more available in the UK, but looks like everyone is sourcing them stateside- interesting.

Anybody know what models/markets (if any) these were oem for Suby's?

Maybe v6 STi's?

Then ther should be some used ones floating around. JDM STi v7 got the 34, US STi v8 got the 39, JDM v8 got a twinscroll unit I believe.

They certainily use a lot of different turbos.
