Hi All,

Do any of you who has access to the partnumbers at a dealer,know if the 4th gearsyncro in the 6speed gearbox has been changed to a different partnumber from 2001 and to now...

I have a problem with my 4th gearsyncro (grinds when over 5,5k rpm).
And i can see that a lot of the new STI in the US are having the same problems..

I have tryed some different fluid ,but there is none of the ones i have tryid that can cure it,

Can someone give my the Partnumber for the syncro(if i have to change it)
My gearbox is from a UK 2001 STI,and have covered 30k km.

All info would be great.

My box did this when i changed to redline, went back to syntrax and it works a treat (touch wood !!)
