my boost solenoid keeps on clicking when i rev the engine, is this normal or is it shagged ?

I think that i have heard that if they do not click then they are shagged!
Get some brake cleaner through it, dont drown it though!
This will give it a good clean out and you should hear it ticking all the time obviously more when revved or acceleration

how do you test a boost solenoid if its working okay ? mine is now only giving me .7 bar on full load.

i have a my97 ra lightweight and mine is running about .75-.8 bar thats about standard boost isnt it? if not what should it be?

mine used to give about 0.9 bar until the solenoid starting clicking more on the revs is this normal ?
