I fitted recently a full Scoobysport/Janspeed decat and the car flies, although tonight after a very spirited driving I had my first pop/bang from the exhaust and all the knock sensor lights went like chrismas tree - even the red one, is this normal or should I worry?

a back fire could be considerd engine noise?

Ive seen a wastgate light up the knock link so bad, that the knock link cannot really be used on its own for determining knock

Actually I didn't see any fire from the back, only a big pop from the exhaust and momentary cut, could this be something else (bad)?
Sorry I never had a full decat thus have no experience with the pops and bangs.

Overboost fuel cut? Log it with Delta Dash?

It was only for a split second John and all knocksensor lights on but it wasn't knock (IMHO) as have heard many times knocking engines although what concerns me is the slight cut and pop from the exhaust.
DD log files don't show something wrong and boost with decat is lower(0,95-0,97bar) compared with the factory exhaust(1bar). Anyway as I don't like the noise(getting old) I am going to replace the two days old Scoobysport back box with a STI one and see how it drives. I had also yesterday a very bad road dyno, bad fuel?

Sounds odd, pops and bangs from decats are normally trivial unless it is overfuelling substantially.
