Question TD05 Vs TD04

Does the TD05 turbo give better performance than the TD04??

depends on your mods, ive just put a tdo5 on mine but i prefered the early boost of the tdo4

Only performance mod is straight through stainless, no cats. Plan on fitting an electronic boost controller. With this setup would the TD05 give better performance?

less lag for the TD04, but max power of about 280 to 300 HP with TMIC
Max power of about 350 HP with the TD05 with TMIC

But you'll need boost controller, AFR controller, ignition controller or remap in any case

sell my turbo i dont think so getting rid of my tek3 ecu and getting apexi put in, then i think ill be asking andyf if he fancies mapping that lot for me

already priced all the stuff up £690 delivered from greenlight and ive got a new intercooler on the way and at least my RA box will be able to handle a bit more torque

Are you sellig your old ECU

possibly interested if you are??

sorry to hi Jak but what would the difference be with a td05 and a vf35 and with a my02 wrx with a ecu tek remap would I get a good improvment with out changing the injectors (with either turbo)
