Default my 01 wrx intercooler on my93 wrx

does this work because i was going to put on a sti 5 top mount but got offered a 01 wrx one is it as big the sti 5 one ?

Yes it does but it requires a bit of work. Trim bulkhead seam, make up support brackets, alter the DV mount, clear brake & servo pipee. Its also easier to fit with the inlet manifold loose.
Big difference when fitted compared to 93 one.

Oh and make up pipe to connect Y pipe to turbo. 93 has one outlet post 97 has 2

i have a sti carbon strut brace fitted will this add to the problem is the sti 5 intecooler easier to fit or just the same

Sti carbon? do you mean strut brace?

I had to bin mine as it was so tight.

I put an my99 i/c on my 92wrx and it blew me away

I think the later one is even bigger but the work involved isn't worth the extra psi.

so what model did you intercooler come off cause i think sti 5 intercooler wont be good to get

Go for a Hybrid FMIC. Very cost effective and efficient.
