EcuTek vs Link
Would like to decat my P1 at some stage and I will require a remap to go with it. The two options that fall within my budget are a Tek3 or a Link setup.
I would like to hear experiences/opinions of these two setups.
One of the reasons why a Link appeals to me is the removal of the MAF. I understand this would allow a wider choice of induction kits to be used & no chance of going into limp mode due to MAF failure.
However I have learned that the MAF takes into account the ambient temperature. Does this mean the Link would need to be tweaked between summer & winter? Or is it able to compensate?
Many Thanks
Jazz
