Header tank leaking?
Guys,
It would appear that the header tank on my UK turbo is a two piece affair held together by a metal band. It seems my header tank is leaking from the join of the two halves.
Is this a common problem? Does anyone know how much a replacement header tank is? I know Spec-R do alloy tanks for about £195 but this is a little more than I was hoping to spend at the moment.
Thanks
Dave.

Sorry, its not really a repairable item, the genuine replacement tanks go for around 55.00 plus the dreaded!
I wouldnt suggest a secondhand one, you dont know how "old" that is and when that may fail.

Oh well at least the geniuine replacement isn't too expensive then. Don't mind paying that much. Just didn't want to end up paying over £100 for a plastic tank. It would have made me feel the need to buy a Spec-R one which I can't really afford at the moment.
Cheers
Dave.

Header tanks
JGM and others, the later metal ones won't fit in place of a plastic one without a fair degree of surgery.
