Leaner AFR with emptier tank or 5th gear
Having slight problem with Dawes AFR.
When cold always lights blue light on half throttle and more in all gears.
After about 10 minutes I only get 3rd LED on WOT BUT only in 5th - OK in all other gears. Blue light just flickers sometimes.
Wondered if it was to do with lambda sensor warming up and under reading.
Filled tank up again and all is well again.
So it appears that the amount of fuel in the tank makes a differance - is this a sign that fuel pump is on way out i.e. with more head of fuel it can maintain correct flow & pressure and then as the head reduces it struggles.
Note it never runs lean - never any worse than 3rd LED on.
