Exclamation Is my Clutch going?

Just recently the biting point of my clutch seems to be getting higher and doesn't seem to 'grab' as much when changing gear.Did a hill last night in 3rd gear, however, and it hung on without any suggestion of slipping.Am I just being paranoid?

Cheers all

With a standard clutch you're likely to see 45,000 plus miles, though after 55,000 it will start to go. You'll know when it has really gone as your rev counter will hit red from 3k & you'll go no where & be left with a terrible burning smell.....

You might just be paranoid.....

My97 Scooby has done 55K and i think the clutch is on its way out...

Problem i have is that the clutch sinks and i have to pull it up...though iv been told that the clutch needs bleeding...(no idea how to do that) but i know it is getting worse..!

When i was searching for a Scooby..I have seen 4 cars, out of which 3 had a new clutch Fitted...!
