Default New MAF sensor for MY99 STi ???

the last two evenings on the way home from work I have noticed a poor idle at traffic lights, the engine almost stalls then hovers from 250-1150rpm until I'm moving again...

MAF sensor by any chance?, I have also switched back to the standard air box and bined the cone filter...

Where can I order a new MAF sensor from?.

Cheers,

Jon.

Bout 70 quid from your local friendly Subaru dealer, it's exactly the same MAF as fitted to the MY99/00 uk spec car, though I'm sure the dealer will argue the toss.

Just a point of note, had a similar problem on mine 99 STi, revs leaping but it only happened after having been razzed, it turned out to be the O2 sensor.

Though the MAF woz fooked too.

The same here, problem also turned out to be the O2 sensor.

As soon as you ware driving no problem, just a sligt hesitation around 3500 RPM. Changed the O2 sensor and all was jolly. There was'nt any "check engine" ligt comming on, but the ECU reported errors on the O2 sensor if you did a check.

Default Same problem.

I'm getting the MAF replaced tomorrow. I'll make sure they check the O2 while I'm there.

Cheers
