Absolutely none, but I'm getting my sticking clutch pedal looked at this Friday. I have heard some comment about the bushes there though.

Hello Andy found the Aircon system yet?

We had the same problem with our car not so long ago, went on for about 2 months then BANG it just stayed down took it to our local dealer after finding out some warranty info on the new clutch fitted when we brought the car just to see if we had to pay

It was inspected and found to be the pressure plate collapsed so we had a new P1 Clutch,Pressure plate and Flywheel fitted for free under warranty so be warned it could be expensive.

Huxley (Paul)

Ps. Andy if the aircon does come back or you get another one i am prepaired to pay a bit more for a Complete kit

Thumbs up

Hi Paul,

Sounds like bad news, I`ll check it out further. As regards to the Air con system, Parcel Force are bloody useless, they still haven`t found it and I`m waiting to hear about my claim, if it ever appears I`ll let you know straight away. Hope you got your money back O.K?

All the best

Andy

Had the same problem just after buying my 95 wrx. Check the clutch pedal return spring is intact. Should see a big spring if you look uner the intercooler arond the middle. Mine had'nt even got one.

Question

Have you tried checking the plastic quadrant on top of the clutch pedal the teeth might be chewed up.
