Does anyone recomend a filter and a exhaust system for my97 i would like a bit extra noise as bhp

Any info would be appreciated

I've fitted a Magnex backbox and de-cat centre pipe to my MY97, with a Ramair filter. It sounds fantastic - not too loud for long journeys on motorways etc, but great when blasting through the gears My Alpine sound system is now virtually redundant!
I think that the scoobysport exhaust system is louder and gives a better increase in power than the Magnex but costs a lot more. Whatever you choose it will be better than the standard setup but check with your insurance company first as some don't like these sorts of mods.

I've got a PE Downpipe, decat centre and single tail back box for sale as I've just sold my scoob.
It is a great improvement over standard performance, sound and looks. Power Engineering reckon it's the best exhaust on the market!

Jap Innovations in oldham have a very nice system. Cheaper than anybodies and fits perfect. Ask Gridlock Mikey, Im told he has a full system and wouldnt have anything else.

It also has a 3" end rolled out. Suits the car very well
