Default Intermitent CEL 32

Anyone had an intermitent CEL 32 'Lambda Sensor'.

Done an ECU reset and got CEL code 32, redone it CEL 32 again, redone it and all clear.

Repreated it again today and seem to get more CEL 32's then all clears.

Normal driving seems to provoke the CEL 32 whereas WOT and high spped seems to report all clear.

I have a spare lambda so may give that a go.

I had that as well, exactly the same (MY00). I wasn't getting any knackered/knackering lambda symptoms though. Fitted Autometer AFR gauge, and got a static light at around 0.25volts. After thinking I'd fcuked up the installation (wouldn't be the first time ) and redoing it a couple of times, I eventually got a cheap and cheerful replacement from a motor factor. Problem solved.

Fitted a universal 4-wire lambda last night.
This morning a -0.5 Degree's the cold running was the typical cold Lamda, slight surging mode. Which makes me think it is now working, as this sympton of a cold Lambda had dissappeared of late.

Although the 4-wire with it's own ground connection is less surgey then the stock item.

Strange tho' that this all seemed to coincide with me changing the MAF over christmas.

I seem to recall others having to change both Lamda and MAF at the same time....I'd do a search if it worked ???

Yeah, I seem to remember seeing that as well. It seems that if they degrade together over a period of time, they manage to "carry" each other up to a certain point, but when you replace one, it throws the other completely...
