Question

I need to know if there are any massive gains to be had over the Racing Suction compared to the Super Power Flow?
Where is the cheapest place to get one?

Al,

Did RCc have any comments about your current induction when you had the Apexi stuff fitted?

WhenI spoke with them, they didn't seem to like the K&N.

Matt,
Yes RC really don't like them (57i) as they are oil based and contaminate the MAF sensor with oil particles thus give incorrect air flow readings. So mines coming off when I know which is the best replacement.

They reckon as long as it is an air based Air Filter they say it dosen't matter. They even suggested I put my standard air box back in instead of the k+n.

Is there any evidence behind that statement or are they blaming the K&N based on the fact that it is an oiled filter and that some oil MIGHT pass to the MAF? Are there any known MAF failures from a correctly installed K&N kit?

Thumbs up

Got rid of the 57i today and put on the HKS super power flow. There is a noticeable difference generally in the car seems to breathe better.
To answer Johns point, I do not know of any, but if RC Developments said Cow Pi55 was as good as any octane boosters my car would have 5 gallon in the boot.

Al,

any plans for a rolling road too see what it's putting out?

Once the brakes are bigger on mine, I think this will be the route for me.

Smile

hopefully soon Matt, but i reckon the car is pushing 280BHP. But it's the speed of the car that amazes me.
0-60 4.30 for example!
