Question

Will the fitting of a induction kit compromise the remaing 6 months of my 3 year subaru warrenty ?

will the fitting of a k&n element filter also unvalidate the warrenty ?????

Yes. The only one you can officially fit is the Subaru paper one. After researching the issue of failed MAF sensors on MY99/00 I decided like others that there was no clear evidence of any MAF failure related to K&N induction kits on the board so I fitted to my 10 month old MY00 and am happy. SOME people suggest swapping them back if you have MAF failure before claiming, not that I would condone that sort of thing.
