Hi All,

The last couple of nights leaving work Ive noticed a clunking noise when on full lock (either way) reversing out of the parking spot.
Its almost like the DCCD is wound up, but it isnt! (99 STi RA Ltd)
Also when on the move and I wind up the DCCD a couple of notches if conditions are a little damp etc, I get a whining noise that syncs with the car speed (ie higher whine when going quicker, lower whine when going slower)
Does it sound like the diffs need some oil in em or something?
The gearbox has been pretty rough for a while too to be honest. Was last serviced in April last year, did all the fluids for me too and the 'box feels ok but only until it warms up a bit then its crunchy as hell!
They used Castrol Saf X transmission oil, and Saf XJ rear diff oil in it...I mentioned Castrol Syntrax but he said it wasnt good enough...?

Any ideas what it might be?
