Question

I have had a racelogic ecu fitted to my 95 uk spec. It has upped the boost pressure to 12psi. I have also fitted a Blitz mid section and BB have got rid of the cat and fitted a blitz indution kit. I currently getting 271Bhp. Is this the highest the boost pressure can go before I end up with crispy turbo or can I go higher??? I have heard 16psi is the highest safe boost but would like a second opinion.

Cheers
Ade

Unhappy

Since posting this I have done some digging. According to Subaru 12psi is actually down on the standard boost my car should be running, let alone that of a chipped car. But a number of different people agree that I would not make 271Bhp at 12psi. I have an autometre pro comp ultra lite boost gauge. Can anyone tell me what's going on? I'm getting a bit miffed at thinking maybe I forked out for a chip that is not doing anything!!!
