Ive just had a H and S downpipe fitted, is it normal for a tinny sound to come from it?
I can hear the turbine spinning now, its just this noise.. its not a rattle.

Can anyone shed any light?

Cheers

It does often sound a bit tinny, especially when cold but check that the turbo heatshield is not rattling against it or is loose!

Mine makes the same noise (also H&S) - and I don't like it. I've heard that exhaust heat-wrap eliminates the noise, so am going to try that when I get a chance.

It's not the heat-shield because I haven't fitted that yet.

Wink

Same with my H&S. Sounds bloody awful when started early in the morning from cold, sounds like the exhaust is blowing! When it warms up it's fantastic though.

As above, £20 of exhaust wrap should cure it so I think I will do that when it gets a bit warmer.
