I know there was a group buy going on a short while ago, can anyone tell me what the price came down to in the end? Tried doing a search but can't find it anywhere.
cheers, James

Dave, I'd give them a call back, they just quoted over £2000 once they'd worked out what the PPP was!

Taking car in on Monday anyway - will check with them again. Was the service manager who gave me the price. In case I'm being thick, the PPP is only the Prodrive engine upgrade isn't it?

Insurance (Privilege) just quote me an extra £80 a year to include upgrade - was seriously thinking about it, but not if it turns out to be >£2k!!

Did you manage to get it done for that price then?

They're going to give me the prices for the various Prodrive options tomorrow when I collect the car (it's having the back bumper resprayed again under warranty - CRAP quality when I got it from the factory and first attempt at fixing it not much better).

I'll post the prices I get on here. Still got to persuade (deceive?) the wife first though before I can do it. She's just ordered a Skoda RS - looking forward to razzing it when she gets it in September

They'd quoted me the price for an Evo VI upgrade - PPP price ~£1950 incl VAT. Don't think I'll be doing it at the moment at that price.

They also failed for the second time to respray the rear bumper properly - overspray on the black trim at bottom of bumper, trim now doesn't fit bumper properly and there's a clear masking line across most of width of bumper... so it's going back for attempt No. 3 week after next. Not impressed!

Exclamation

I was reliably informed that PPP for a MY99, MY00 and MY01 were all reduced to £1600 inc. VAT.

No way should it cost any more for an older car. Me thinks there taking the pi$$ if they think they can charge £2K anything other than a MY01.
