MODS I'VE POSTED IN DRIVETRAIN BUT NOT TOO MANY PPL GO IN THERE CAN YOU LEAVE THIS UP IN GENERAL FOR THE DAY SO I MIGHT GET A RESPONSE PLEASE

Yesterday I was blatting thru the lanes and every time I changed into 5th the gear crunched but went in. If I'm driving slower (like under 60)no problem but when I was giving it large thru the box, crunch into 5th every time.

The cars only done 7,700 miles has anyone else suffered this on an MY03 car???

Any replies or help would be appreciated

it happens to me in third on my MY93, but i did try and force it into 3rd about 2yrs ago racing on southport beach, oh it took my 3 week old clutch with it as well. crunches at high revs, but alright at "normal" driving.

Not good if this is a common fault that it hasn't been rectified in 10 years

Mine has recently started to do this (MY00). 3rd occasionally, but 5th under hard acceleration. It's starting to worry me a bit...

Ive just replied to the other post mate, its deffo a problem that you shoudl go to the dealer with, as its still under warranty they wil change it free of charge, just make sure that you demo the problem to them.
