I have a 93RA engine with closed deck block which I am planning to re build
Couple of questions
Are the heads from later cars any different ?
If so are there any gains to be had from fitting these ,assuming of course that they would fit
Or should I keep the original heads.
If I use the original heads are there any known problems with the hydraulic tappets ?
Can the tappets be dismantled and cleaned out ?
And can any one just confirm that the C/R is 8.0:1 ?

C/R is 8:1. Am looking for an STI4 head for cheap myself so it'll breath better at higher revs if you know what I mean. Tweenierob did this to his. I think our RA heads are the same as standard WRX of the time..
