Idle racing a bit with Prodrive WRSport backbox
#1
Since fitting the Prodrive WRSport back box the revs at idle very occasionally hover at 1100rpm or so. Not that often and no real pattern to the occurrences. I would say on a 50 mile mixed drive (progressive but not hard) I will notice it for a couple of junctions and then its gone again.
Dealer says nothing to worry about and probably just a consequence of the ECU not being mapped for the box. A mate never had this with a certain 'alternative' make of backbox .
Otis.
MY00 totally standard apart from backbox

Hi Alan,
I get that on mine occasionally when I come to a stop. I put it down to cables and such like.
During our Sunday jaunts the idle seems to run much smoother and settles to dead on 800 very quickly.
