Thinking of getting one of these, but I'm bothered about the angled exit and the fact it could look funny if it doesn't sit properly under the cut-out in the rear bumper.

Anyone got any photos of the back of their car with one of these fitted ? Please send to email addy if you have I would greatly appreciate it !

I did check the Scoobyworld site and they've got rid of their original pics which showed the angled exit and the position relative to the cut-out, I've asked for the images but no reply can anyone help ?

Jim, yes it would loads ! Would really appreciate some pics !

Any chance of a shot taken standing back from the car, just looking at the whole back of the car ? This should show how anlged it is and whether the point where it passes under the cut-out is central and looks ok etc. from the back !

No problem, I'll be taking quite a few pictures.

Although I had it fitted Monday, I still haven't seen the back of the car properly in daylight!

If you don't want the angled look they still do the traditionlly style if wanted.

As requested.....

We also offer the Afterburner Vortex with a straight exit at the rear of the car, however this does compromise gas flow (as the pipework has additonal bends to allow for the straight exit, as per the majority of the rear silencers on the market)

Hope this helps

Owl28 - yeh nice one got your mail and just replied - cheers for those shots !

Looks a bit different on the classic compared to Neil's new shape because the cut out isn't the same, but it still looks pretty good!

Neil, Ian, you don't mention any extra cost for the straight version, is this the case ? Just wondering really cos I'll probably end up with the angled one anyway for the extra power.

Jim, did you manage to take any photos on your classic ? I've seen some photos on a classic and have almost made my mind up to get one, but still not 100% sure whether to get angled or straight !

Anyone got a straight one fitted (oo-err missus) ?

One for Neil if he's around...has any noise testing been done with the Vortex ? Need to know approx Db with de-cat centre and vortex BB if you have the info ! cheers

Neil,

Thanks for that, not stupidly loud then ! Perfect for me anyway.

Just need to decide whether to get a straight or angled exit now.

Cheers

We were approached by a Scoobynetter to start one, not sure what happened to it though.

If someone wants to start one up, drop me an email.

I would start up a group buy but my MOT has just ran out!! Was planning on ordering today. If there wasn't such an urgency I'd do it though.

If we wanted to set up a group buy.
How many people would we need for it.
What type of discount would we expect

I'm after a Jap style backbox to replace mine at the moment. The angled Vortex sounds good, any chance of seeing the pics on the classic impreza?

Thanks
