Efjie from France offer an upgrade package that takes the UK-Scoob up to about 310-320bhp.

It consists of:

ECU with bang bang (not sure if they use the Motec?).
special turbocharger that can live with bang bang
Silicone hoses from turbo to intercooler
upgraded camshafts
upgraded cylinder gaskets
4 sparks Groupe N NGK
upgraded clutch
complete Scorpion exhaust system
Green induction kit

What do you think of that, is it a safe way to go on the Scooby?

Not sure what a bang bang is, but this sounds like a comprehensive kit that could well be capable of 300bhp from a 2 litre Scoob boxer engine. It is looking at the right things.

Safe is an entirely different question - does the fitter/tuner know what they are doing? Chips are only as good as the fryer as we all know!

Ric, you dont need half that stuff to get 310 from a uk engine. I know!

ECU = Link, Motec, Pectel, etc.
Turbo = Hybrid
Silicone Hoses = Needed. Normal one blows at 17psi.
Camshafts = Not needed.
Cylinder Gaskets = Not Needed. Until rebuild time.
Spark plugs = Yes, stronger spark at higher boost.
Uprated clutch = Always helpful.
Exhaust = First mod on anyones list!
Induction = Second mod on anyones list!

I had good figures from a UK MY97, running link, hybrid, exhaust, induction and plugs.
