WHICH DOWN PIPE

Can anyone advise me on which down pipe to go for, i was thinking an open neck TSL or Scoobysport to go onto scorpion midsection/backbox, car's a 98 STI. any advice welcome and anybody with one for sale?

Got a knock link fitted and she's touch and go as it is, never relised that decatting may cause it to run lean, ordered a h+s downpipe so will just hhave to keep an eye on that little bad lights!!

Are you getting lights up as standard? If so, i'd get it checked. Presume you are using optimax and octane booster?

yea mate getting lights, had mid section, back box, do you know much about getting it remapped?prices?its a 98 sti, running optimax +booster

Its basically quite expensive for an ECU. Try and get a 2nd hand Link ECU for about £350 ish, then get it mapped by Bob Rawle, another £350. Other years have much cheaper options than 97/98, but there are things happening on that front.
It may just be you need an uprated fuel pump and reg. Stick a post in Gen technical. Its worth some expert advice as there may be slim chance your MAF is dying and causing it to run lean.
You can also check the ECU for fault codes...

Yea so i just found out, looking around the 700 quid mark, not keen on spending that kind of money, heve been idvised to get someone to check it with a set of det cans, cheers for the advice mate
