Question

Thinking of fitting Scoobysport rear silencer, anyone had any problems with warranty after this? I've heard that Subaru are pretty flexible and will honour most warranty claims unless it directly relates to the exhaust.

If not is the WRSport rear silencer supplied by Subaru themselves any good?

Cheer :-)

NBW,

You shouldnt have any problems with your warranty with a s/sport box, but clearly it isnt a Subaru 'approved' exhaust and depending on your dealer they could be difficult.....
The WR sport exhaust is a prodrive box - available in oval or circular pipe. It should give about 10 bhp improvement, but it doesnt sound anything close to the s/sport one ...... another alternative would be a P1 prodrive b/box (£350 incl VAT), which would keep your warranty in tact and it sounds fantastic..!

Good luck,

I have just had the WRSport back box fitted (only available with an oval tailpipe) and I prefer it to the Scoobysport box to be honest. Slightly quieter, deeper tone and has a hint of Group N to its sound.

Very happy and the tailpipe looks the business.
