Hi

Just had my 60k service on tuesday and since then, I have had this misfire at low revs in second or third gear, a real pain in the backside around town!!
Has anyone ever seen this before, I am thinking it may have sumfin todo with the coil packs or the rubber bits around them(looking back at old threads!)
Anyone else care to shed some light on this ?

Hardy,

I had a similar problem, check you oil level to see if it's too high.

Mine was 1cm over the maximum on the dipstick, so I drained off the excess and then cleaned the wastegate solenoid with some aerosol brake cleaner. It'll take a 100miles or so to get rid of any excess crap left over and you may have to clean the wastegate solenoid a couple of times.

I replaced my coil packs a while back when I had a problem when accelerating to about 5000rpm and then it would misfire. Never had a problem at lowere revs, so check your oil level first mate.

Another thing to look at is where the coolant reservoir is, I'd noticed that some was spilt on my 60,000 service and it ran down the side of the engine making the front offside coil pack dirty and causing tracking.

Cheers

Neil
