Lambda Link readings after a blast

I have been reading a few posts relating to a Lambda Link and its behavior after a session of hard driving. Is true that the oe lambda sensor will give false readings when it gets hot??
The reason I ask is that last night when I parked up on my drive after a blast the LL was showing the last green light only at idle.
Does this prove that the oe lamdba sensor is pretty useless and therefore gives the LL false readings after a hard drive.

Wouldnt that mean the red/amber lights would come one at idle instead of the green??
Or is it behaving correctly.

Depends where it normally is
It'll read leaner when hot, yes (all lambda sensors will do this; widebands take temperature readings & compensate for the additional heat so the produced reading is still accurate).
However... there's more to it than that. Open loop idle's a bit of a nightmare, and due to different oil temps, turbo's spinning more or less freely due to this, etc. etc. it means that the idle AFR will be different after a blast than before.
Although, oddly, I get ~13.5:1 before, and 14.8:1 after, so leaner... (that's with a temperature compensated wideband so I think I can quote with some convictions )
