I ran an engine cleaner/de-coker ('Nitrox power boost')through my car the other day and it altered the boost. when you put your foot down now it hit 1.4 bar on the guage and the fuel cut kicked in, but when you let it boost up to about 1 bar and hold it there until the rpm is about 4000 and then put you foot door it hit 1.2 bar and stayed at that until you changed gear. Its a uk my98 turbo with full de-cat, whilst the car was running like this i got the problem of only 0.5 bar boost when accelerating after holding the car at about 2500-3000 rpm. Straight after this happening the ECU seemed to reset it's self back to standard 1 bar boost? I tried another can today and it's back running at a much higher boost, anyone know whats going on....??
