I'm going for a full de-cat on MY03, has anyone else don this yet, did it make a big difference and did it create any problems, any advice please.

No MY03 experience, but is bound to make more power and will drive loads better ,if it was a classic shape i'd say do it for sure just for the power and driveability,it's not as straight foward as the classic though,as my03 has more sensors, but i believe this can be overcome...

MY03 WRX ? Either way you will end up with a CEL, solution is to use an electronic fix available from several places, if you are having it remapped then the ecu settings can be adjusted so its not a problem.

Weel, in my next service I'll fit my full decat Scoobysport exhaust and I post my results and DD road dynos but this is more or less at the end of January.
About CEL with the remap it eliminates it, otherwise take a CEL fix as the Scoobysport one or do yourself an extension bung for the factory rear O2 sensor or buy a PEP Mil eliminator (it's just a 10M Ohm resistor placed in your blue wire on the rear O2 sensor).
Of course the best solution is a remap with second the electronic fix (Scoobysport like).
I'll do probably a bung extension for me as my dealer accepts the decat() but not any soldering near ECU or O2 sensor - I know it's stupid - I don't mind as I can fit my favourite exhaust without avoiding my warranty...!
