Hi Dave

I had an ITG panel filter put in at the last service. The engine definitely breathes easier but oddly enough, it's made my Scorpion BB a bit quieter.

Cheers

Spent a load of cash on a Blitz SUS panel filter but I have to say I don't notice the difference over the normal Subaru paper one

The filter was sucked into the engine, neatly compressed, spat into the exhaust and now firmly resides in the Scorpion where it does a commendable job of reducing noise!!
I have a K&N panel filter and find no discernable difference?

Thanks for the replies.
I did have them replace the filter with there sporty one (whatever its called) and I have got to say it has made quite a difference. It seems to be more responsive throughout gear changes and pulling away. Also I can stay in 5th gear a lot longer now.
Seems to be a worthy upgrade.
Also in this post you mention removing the resonator, what does that do?

Cheers,

Dave.

What type did the dealer fit then?
How much was it?
I've got a my00 with a scoobysport back box same as you..wouldn't mind changing my air filter to get some more air in.
