Can someone confirm (who has done this)
Wether a Back box from a classic Impreza is a direct swop on a Legacy Saloon?
I think it is but im not sure.
I know the centre section is longer.
cheers

ive put a back box off a 02 sti on my legacy . but you need a small bit of fabricating .The hanging points are differant and the flange needs to be taken off the old exhaust and welded into the sti exhaust this also gives you a bit more lengh as the sti exhaust is about 2 inches shorter. the box was nearly new only cost me £40 and took only an hour to fit.

thanks guys
think a mild steel one would be better than a SS BB if fabrication is required.

Better still, give poor Mr.Wallis a break and phone Heyward and Scott, who did an excellent job of mine, and are friendly and helpful to boot!

Way you drive the exhaust will never get hot enough to melt the plastic tie wraps, so you should be ok

The bb i have on my92 leg wagon is from a magnex uk impreza my98.
I didn't mod the hangers, mind you the end is about 5" too short
Still it leaves a nice black mess around the bumper. . .
