perhaps, but I wouldn't like to try. Ceraintly the pintle style of injector cannot be modified in this way.

The metering is usually done internally within the injector, but that doesn't mean that you cant improve the flow. I would be very wary of being the first to test it! At least get one tested on a injector flow bench first to check it.

As Paul says I don't think the old style side flow injectors can be modified in this way but they can certainly be 'hi-flowed'.

I'm not exactly sure what is involved but I know there are companies in Oz who do it and it's relatively cheap.

I guess you could rig up your own flow test easily enough using a pipette. Just the spray pattern I'd be worried about

The flow test would need the injector, fitted a fuel rail, fed with fuel and the operating pressure.

I mean if you were making a batch of them you could rig something up 'quite' easily to test them May be no need to spend loads of money sending them off to be tested?
