revolution exhaust system
#1
I have a MY02 Impreza WRX and am looking to replace the exhaust with a performance system from the end of the downpipe back. Revolution motorport advertise a system and it is reasonably priced. Has anyone any experience of this system? Thanks.

I suggest you Email AlanG or John Banks (regular posters) They both have a rev system. Personally I think it has an excellent blend of sound and power ability.

I had trouble with the slip joints leaking no matter how much sealant and how many clamps I used. I had it welded up in the end which made it at least as costly as some of the commonly used alternatives. I don't like the design of the downpipe.
The spec seems to drift over time.
Now it is welded up the volume is fine, and the power is satisfactory.

Strange as well, but as John hinted at, I think maybe Revolution have changed suppliers as the quality on John's system wasn't a patch on mine which i've had since Revolution started selling them.
About 3 1/2-4 years?

yup, same here. love it although, because i've had the exhaust for over 2 and a half years now, i'm in need of something a bit noisier. think i'm just gonna get someone to make up a bb for the system itself tho

Spot on boy's
Im the one BrianC's talking about, loved the sound of the revolution system, just wasnt noisey enough through time as i got used to it, but that's just me, got a nur spec r now with revolution down pipe and it's to fn loud now, got young children next door so need to jump out round the corner and fire the bung in late at nite, other than that it's minted !
Also needed to weld the system together as it leaked all over the place, just handy im a tig welder int it, think mine was made by hayward and scott, not as tidy as the blitz but hey am not bitter.
Infact i have been trying to sell the cat back system with 6x4 oval tail pipe around 2 years old for a classic bad boy but not had much luck, its just a bit of a bass to sent to someone as it is the one piece
Opinion ? top dog for the price !
