Question

Is it worth fitting a D/P on my PPP MY00?
What can I expect in terms of relaibility and performance/noise gains? If all ok which type?

Cheers

I have a my00+ppp+ straight thru scoobysport zorst.

I went from PPP to PPP+DP+ITG Filter to PPP+DP+Straight thru centre to the above, so can comment on these stages.

PPP's nice at speed, but round town, you can't hear the exhaust very much.

with the DP you get a slightly louder and throaty noise coming through and you can hear the turbo a bit more. it also spools a bit earlier. the engine feels free er. If you don't like it loud, this is a good compromise.

With the addition of the straight thru centre, it's louder still with no perceptable increase in throttle response or performance. The BB sounds really blowey at speed though.

Having changed the BB to a scoobysport one, it seems a little freeer still and I think performance had increased a little, but not much. the sound is awesome though - it's lot louder. My wife and kids like the sound, but if your other half isn't into it...

I've had no problems.

You are running on SUL? go for the DP and ITG filter and I guaruntee you'll have upgraded again inside 3 months!

If I were to start again, I'd be tempted by a BPM setup

go on... you know you want to!
