Hope you can help.
I've got a Scoobysport downpipe and centre section with a Scorpion back box on mine.
Since the D/P went on the engine light has been lighting up.
I have to go for a Select Monitor Reset at the Dealer. Apparantly the 0 2 sensor in centre section is finding fault with the emissions and causing the light to come on.
Totally strange as to the times it comes on:
100 miles after fitting D/P
then 200 miles after reset
then 300
then 400
then 500
then 1100!
now back to 100 miles before it needs a reset.
What the hell is going on!
Is there a way round this, other than by putting the original D/P back on.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Or is it just my luck with Scoobies.

I seem to remember Pete saying that if the car is running on normal unleaded, the ecu will bring up a fault code, to say that cats are not running at optimum (obvious since there isn't one ) but apparently it shouldn't affect the running, I think he may be working on an electrical gubbin to prevent this from coming up. I also seem to remember him saying that it hasn't shown up when using Super unleaded.
Either way speak to Pete as I'm just reporting what I heard in passing. It's nothing to worry about though as it's just there to warn of cats running below optimum!
