Idling problems
#1
Just wondering if someone else can identify the possible problem here.
Think there might be a leak somewhere just wondering if anyone can tell where from symptoms.
Car starts, goes to 1500 rpm, then dies. Sometimes does when you dip the clutch, revs fall to idle then die. Or if at idle, a little bit of accelerator cause the revs to drop then it dies.
It is on a link ecu, but the best guys in the land have been working on this, and have isolated the ecu from the equation.
Anyone have any ideas? suggestions?

Might be talking utter cr*p here (surely not I hear you cry ), but I seem to remember some idling problems being related to MAF sensor failure. Do you use an aftermarket induction kit??

Adam,
You say the Link ECU has been ruled out. Maybe you could try just plugging your OE ECU back in just to try it, to make 110% sure ?
However, does sound like maybe a hose has come off somewhere. One to check is the intercooler hose underneath the intercooler. That can crack and split wide open
Er, clutching at straws
Cheers

Thanks Chan,
But I people who are acknowledged to be the leading mappers of link ecus, have been working on this, and although the standard ecu is worth trying still, there is nothing untoward about any of the link settings.
The car is a 22B.
