Question

Ive heard of a couple of stories of people driving along a fairly fast straight stretch of road and then unnexpectedly loose control of the car-on inspection there hasnt been any mechanical failiure.

Could it be due to having different circumference tyres between the front and rears-thus causing difflock on the centre diff, causing the car to go out of control?

easy

as long as the tyres are the same size you wont have a problem, the centre diff isnt that tight.

does that apply to the same size tyres but say the fronts being worn quite low and the rears being brand new?

i know the vauxhall systems really, really hate this

Wink

I'm sure the Subaru system is tolerant of the new/worn tyres situation. Cars going off road? Driver concentration?
Maybe just one of those things!
